Installing the theme
Download the theme
After purchase, download the the-studio .zip file from your account dashboard. Keep it zipped — Shopify needs the original archive.
Upload to Shopify
In your Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes → Add theme → Upload zip file, then select the file you downloaded.
Preview & customize
Click Customize to open the theme editor. Adjust colors, typography and sections to match your brand before going live.
Publish
Happy with it? Hit Publish to make the-studio your live theme. Your previous theme stays saved in your library.
Frequently asked
Is the-studio compatible with my Shopify plan?
Yes. the-studio works on every Shopify plan, including Basic. It is built on Online Store 2.0, so all sections and blocks are fully supported in the theme editor.
Will updating the theme erase my customizations?
No. Theme updates are published as a new theme version in your library, so your live theme and its settings are never overwritten. We recommend re-applying your settings on the updated copy, then publishing it.
How do I import the demo content?
Demo products, collections and pages are included as importable files in your download. Inside the theme editor, each demo section is pre-configured — duplicate the demo template and swap in your own content.
Do you offer a refund?
Themes are digital products, so we cannot offer refunds once downloaded. If something isn't working as described, contact us first — we'll always make it right.
Can you help with custom changes?
We offer limited free support for setup and bugs. For custom development (new sections, integrations, design changes) reach out via the form below and we'll send a quote.
